4. Pyramid Communication
Length: ½ day
Max attendance: 12 people
Communicate for better results!
Most of us communicate on the job the way we do in the rest of our lives. But what works in one context or culture may not work in others. If our colleagues, managers and employees do not share communication habits or cultural norms the problems arising from this soon lead to frustration, disillusionment, delays and waste.
o “What’s she talking about?”
o “Why would he say that?”
o “So what?”
This training is ideal for local staff working in western companies or in companies with western management practices. It is also good for staff who are interfacing with western or western-trained managers, customers or suppliers for the first time. There is no technical content, a lot of time is spent on group exercises and practice.
It addresses head on the problems so common in Chinese-Western business relationships and gives techniques which help put all players on an equal footing.
