What are Audience Stats?
Audience Stats tells a client exactly what they’ll get from a media vehicle or network.
With very few exceptions in China, agencies and advertisers do not trust vendors to provide accurate audience data. Data inflation, fudging, or plain fabrication, even with the rubberstamp of a media research company is believed to be the norm. This leads agencies and advertisers to make very rough gut-based adjustments of vendor provided stats. Typically they will take 30% to 50% of the vendor's numbers as the "more true" audience size, but they do not really know. And this approach penalizes any vendors who invest in accurate audience data - thus perpetuating the incentive to lie.
AMC Audience Stats are unique audience figures on a daily, weekly or monthly basis plus demographic profile information for any specific site, program, title, or media network. Audience Stats are a completely neutral and unbiased assessment of a media vehicle's value. Audience Stats data comes from AMC directly; media owners may subscribe but the data itself is not provided by or funded from media owners.
Who needs it?
Audience Stats are most useful to media owners / publishers, media brokers and investors. Our Audience Stats are especially useful for media which are not regularly measured by an independent ratings or auditing body.
What does AMC need?
Just tell us the name of the media vehicle(s) of interest to you - the website, billboard address, TV program, magazine name etc. - and we'll provide the most recent audience fgures we have in our system.
What do clients get?
